The Economic Restructuring Committee has been working hard to put together a comprehensive document to distribute to local commercial realtors and area businesses to promote Downtown Wayland as a place to do business.
The efforts of this brochure came after a 2012 Market Analysis Study and consumer surveys reporting we need to recruit additional businesses to Downtown Wayland.
“This is an exciting time for the ER Committee. We have spent months learning about business recruitment, analyzing the market, designing and producing the recruitment brochure, and mapping out a recruitment plan. The team is now ready to meet with commercial brokers, potential investors and small business owners to discuss the opportunities available in downtown Wayland”, stated ER Chair Bruce Patrick.
The ER Committee is tasked with continuously monitoring the economic health of our downtown. Committee members are working to recruit new businesses to Downtown Wayland and try to help existing businesses grow. Some completed and ongoing projects include: Informational Business Workshops (ex: Marketing and Social Media), Business Directory, Business Visitation Program, Wine & Canvas Event, and more.
The ER Committee meets at 12PM on the second Wednesday of each month at Daily Brews Coffee Cafe located at 128 S. Main Street.
