The City of Wayland is currently accepting applications for a Department of Public Works (DPW) laborer.
Essential Job Functions:
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the duties which the employee may be expected to perform.
- Snow Removal/Salting
- Special Event Coverage
- Sidewalk Cleaning
- Power Washing
- Trash & Graffiti Removal
- Mowing & Trimming
- Planting/Watering Flowers
- Weed Control
- Inspection & Maintenance
- Perform a Variety of Tasks Related to the Operation and Maintenance of the City’s Public Works, Including Cross-Coverage for Water/Wastewater, Parks & Grounds, Vehicle and Building Maintenance
- Provide a High Level of Customer Service and Ensure that Downtown is Safe, Clean, and Vibrant
